MiningJobsIndia exists because mining hiring in India still runs on phone numbers passed hand to hand, with no way to check who’s actually qualified before they show up on site.
The Problem We Saw
Across India’s coal and mineral belts, most contract hiring for blasters, drillers, operators and safety staff still happens through informal local “jobbers” — no verification, no record, and often a cut taken out of what the worker actually earns.
Skilled workers with real certifications get passed over for whoever a contractor’s usual contact happens to know that week. Contractors, meanwhile, have no way to confirm a worker’s licence or experience before hiring — until something goes wrong on site.
I’ve spent 2.5 years working in industrial mining myself — I’ve seen first-hand how hiring actually happens on the ground, and how little verification exists before a worker steps onto a site. MiningJobsIndia is my attempt to fix that, starting with the belt I know best.

Verification Before Listing
A profile only goes live after its certificate or experience proof has actually been checked — not just self-declared.
Free for Workers, Always
Creating a profile and being discovered will never cost a worker anything. That’s not changing as we grow.
Direct, No Hidden Cut
Once contact is unlocked, employer and worker deal with each other directly — no ongoing commission sitting in between.
We’re early-stage, and we’d rather tell you that than hide it.
MiningJobsIndia is a new platform, currently being run and verified by a small, hands-on team rather than a large company. Every worker profile is checked manually right now, and every contact request is processed by a real person — not an automated system.
We’d rather grow slowly with verified profiles and real trust than rush to look bigger than we are. If that changes as we scale, we’ll update this page to say so honestly.
